Support After Pregnancy & Infant Loss

Finding Hope Through Loss

Compassionate Care That Bridges Loss & Healing

At The Healing Bridge, we believe no family should walk through pregnancy or infant loss alone. We exist to gently bridge the space between medical care and long-term emotional healing. We understand that pregnancy and infant loss is not only a clinical event, it is the loss of a child, a future, and a deeply held hope. The moments surrounding that loss, especially within healthcare settings, can leave lasting imprints on a family’s heart. Our work is grounded in research and best practices, but it is also shaped by lived experience. We integrate trauma-informed care, grief science, maternal mental health awareness, and culturally responsive approaches so that families feel seen, heard, and honored not rushed, minimized, or forgotten. Through professional training, meaningful resources, and community-centered support, we help ensure that compassion does not end at discharge. We work to close the gap between hospital care and ongoing healing, creating spaces where grief is acknowledged and families are supported with dignity. Every program, every resource, and every conversation is designed with one purpose: to honor the baby, protect the parents, and strengthen the care surrounding them.

Our Mission

The Healing Bridge exists to bridge gaps in care for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss by providing compassionate follow-up support, accessible resources, community connection, and advancing trauma-informed practices within healthcare systems.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every family experiencing pregnancy and infant loss receives compassionate, continuous, and culturally responsive support and where healthcare professionals are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and sensitivity to provide trauma-informed care that honors the emotional and psychological needs of grieving parents.
